No, that's not me in the photo, but it pretty well describes the odd mix of laughter and, well, a little bit of not-laughter -- that's brought me here, and all the color, fun and joy that is the future. It's been a few months of travel, learning, and pro-bono projects, while getting settled into a new studio, with a whole new point of view.

note: This photo was from a project back in the late 90's, when I first discovered the internet.
It was called the Balloon Hat Man (or Project), and I will never forget it. They traveled all over the world documenting people wearing silly balloon hats. I used to revisit the site often to view the images, both for the travel to incredible remote villages meeting people in faraway places, and for the faces and reactions of people wearing such colorful fantastic art pieces.
They've finally been found again on the web with updates!
